New Lyme Township is located in the Southern part of Ashtabula County, Ohio and was settled in 1803 before taking the name New Lyme in 1825.

This website has been created to enhance communications with our residents. Please send us your feedback on the site, make suggestions for additional content, or tell us what is on your mind around the Township. 

Trustee Meetings are at 7 PM the second Thursday of each month unless otherwise posted.

The Township Hall and Garage is located at 810 Dodgeville Road, just West of Route 46.

Rentals of the Township Hall are $100 for New Lyme residents or $150 for non-resident rentals. For Hall Rentals please call 440.344.9410.

Announcements

• The New Lyme Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 7pm at the New Lyme Township Hall located at 810 Dodgeville Road, New Lyme Township in order to review the variance application filed by Construction Services, LLC for the property located at 5348 Peck Road, New Lyme Township, Ohio which seeks a variance from the front yard setback requirements in Section 1113.03.
• Clean up Day is Saturday, April 24^th from 8-12 pm.
• LEGAL NOTICE: The New Lyme Township Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025 has been completed and filed with the Auditor of State. The report is available for public viewing at the Clerk’s office by calling 440-294-2811.Wendi L. O’Brien
